About the Artist

Elizabeth Craig began drawing as a toddler in Ohio and developed her artistic talent studying at the Cleveland Institute of Art while still in high school. She then obtained a degree with honors in Studio Art from Wellesley College, where she excelled in drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture.

Elizabeth based her work on Hilton Head Island for many years.  She worked locally and also traveled all around the Southeast and in the Chicago and Denver areas to grace homes and businesses with beautiful hand painted custom artwork.  She now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she teaches art in a scholastic atmosphere and continues to pursue artistic endeavors.

Over the years, traveling throughout Europe and in Kenya has inspired Elizabeth to study varied media, styles, and subject matter.  She is currently working on a series of paintings based on the Maasai of Kenya and the wildlife with which they share the African landscape.

Where can you do custom art work? On interior and exterior walls in any room, in swimming pools, block walls, drywall, garages, glass, furniture, flooring, ceilings, fabrics, signs, on vehicles and even in man caves...if you can imagine it, Liz can make it happen!

Denver Cow Parade  Two of Elizabeth Craig's  original art designs were chosen for this charity event in Denver, Colorado.  "Mootercycle," a cow ridden by a miner and his Jackalope companion and painted in stylish flames, was sponsored by the Left Hand Brewing Company, and  Forest City Stapleton sponsored snowboarding cow  "Cowabunga, Dude!"  This cow was one of a few chosen for manufacture as a figurine and sold worldwide.
